This will be the 18th year of Blood Donation Camp to be organized by Dilasa Medical Trust and Rehabilitation Centre, supported by Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation and Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management.
The activity which was initiated by Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi (Sadguru Bapu), in the year 1999, has gradually gained momentum and spread all over Maharashtra. During the year 2016 a total of 106 camps were successfully conducted all over Maharashtra, in which a total of 11,316 units of blood were collected. The magnitude of the activity can be gauged from these sustained efforts throughout the year.

Iodine 131, a radioactive isotope mostly associated with nuclear fission has been detected in air sampling results of some of the official monitoring organizations in Europe, pointing towards a possible nuclear incident in the polar regions of Arctic.
The radioactive particles were first detected in January in Svanhovd, Norway near the Russian border. Similar detection has also been confirmed in Spain. Air sample detection indicated a very-low concentration of isotope, which has been confirmed to have no health risk to people and environment.

Recently a conference was convened in the French capital of Paris with a clear focus on the hotly disputed and blood-soaked issue of Israel and Palestine. In the attendance were the foreign ministers, envoys and delegates from 70 nations of the world which included Permanent-5 of the United Nations, G20, European Union, Arab countries, etc. Ironically even though the topic of discussion was ‘Israel-Palestine issue’ yet both were not invited to it.

Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi’s (Aniruddha Bapu) appeal from today’s Dainik Pratyaksha

I have no interest whatsoever in any political party or even in any political activity in the country i.e India. Not at all!
From politicians I do not want to take anything and as for giving, I have nothing to give them either.
However, I have an ardent and enormous interest in the wellbeing and an equally profound concern for the woes of my beloved motherland and that is how it is always going to be.
Globally speaking, the atmosphere at the moment comes forth as a queer delusion and seems to play bizarre games.
Moreover, be it at the level of the Grampanchayat, be it the state or the national level or even the international level, politics as such always keeps doing twists and taking turns and crooked bends.

USA – Vulnerable position post-Cold War!

After the fall and disintegration of the USSR, world had infact become unipolar with United States influencing and at times dominating many nations of the world on their foreign, defence and economic policies. But this influence of the USA is waning of late and the all-powerful USA is facing not only challenges but is also losing few of its trusted friends.

Russia has been the old-foe of the United States. But after the fall of USSR, isolated Russia was forced to go on back-foot and faced heavy financial crisis. But since year 2000, under the leadership of Vladimir Putin, Russia has been on steady path to get back its lost glory. Recently it has gained so much strength that NATO commanders feel threatened and out-powered by Russia’s defence might and diplomatic tactics in Europe.

Dramatic changing relationship between Turkey and Russia

Less than a year back in the month of November 2015 the world witnessed an event which was going to be a face changer for it. It was on 24th November 2015 that Turkey’s F-16 combat aircraft shot down a Russian SU-24 fighter jet near the Russia-Turkey border. This even resulted in the bilateral relations of Turkey and Russia going through a complete 180-degree change in a snap.
Historically Turkey and Russia have had many ups and downs in their bilateral relationship. When Turkey joined NATO in the year 1952 and got aligned with the West, its relations with the then Soviet Union had got strained. Almost 4 decades later, following the dissolution of Soviet Union in 1991 the relations between Turkey and Russia improved quickly eventually leading to greater mutual trade. Although Turkey was always known to be a NATO and US ally, in the year 2009 the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Russia, met Russian President Vladimir Putin and signed many trade deals defining a new phase of bilateral relations.
