The Killing Concoction in Syria (Part – I)

It is only three months that we Indians have been hearing of the West Asian country of Syria quite regularly. But Syria has been soaking in a bloodbath since the year 2011.

The war began in form of an unrest in the year 2011 with nationwide protests against President Bashar al-Assad’s. To this Syrian forces responded with violent crackdowns. The conflict gradually was made to escalate from protests to an armed war after months of military campaign. And today Syria stands at the doorstep of complete destruction.

Birth Rates and Upbringing of Children

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com
Samirsinh Dattopadhye's FB page , Google Plus

Just last week China ended its famous “One-Child Policy” as a result of its rapidly aging population. The Chinese couples will now be allowed to have two children. India too on its part has been having its two children campaign, which was the first population control campaign in the world at its launch in the year 1950.

Globally most of the developed nations like United States, Japan, etc. and most of the European countries are facing multiple economic, social and cultural problems owing to aging population which is a result of lessened birth rates. Economically this has resulted in major cut down in productivity, wealth and has caused increase in spending on pensions and healthcare. Countries which record lower birth rates also face multiple problems relating to preserving their cultural and traditional values, and also face imbalanced and skewed demographics with respect to religion and gender. The recent issue of Middle Eastern immigrants in European countries is a classic example of this.
The problem of lessening of birth rates has arisen because trends like “Double Income Single Kid” (DISK) and “Double Income No Kid” (DINK) have been increasingly observed in the developed western societies and those societies that they influence.

Major Policy Shift by India on Pakistan – Part II

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com

The Indian side was very quick to rubbish the entire plan. The Indian External Affairs Ministry out rightly criticized it. The Indian External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj in her address in the United Nations rejecting Sharif’s 4-Point Plan asserted that demilitarizing Kashmir was not the answer for achieving peace but deterrorising Pakistan was. India also bluntly called Pakistan a ‘prime sponsor of terrorism’. Later Mrs. Swaraj not only criticized the international community for overlooking and ignoring Pakistan issue over the years but also the UN which has wasted a lot of time in giving just the ‘definition of terrorism’. For losing out the advantage at UNGA, Nawaz Sharif has been increasingly facing criticism at hands of Pakistani media and public at large.

Cosmic Rays and Solar Energy – Dr. Nikola Tesla

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com
Samirsinh Dattopadhye's FB page , Google Plus

We must have received messages stating the harmful nature of Cosmic Rays and that we need to switch off our mobiles at night, today we are going to see what exactly these cosmic rays are and the work Dr. Nikola Tesla did in this field.

Dr. Nikola Tesla wrote in New York American (newspaper) that he had “harnessed the rays of the sun and would compel them to operate machinery that would give light and heat”. Dr. Tesla said that he was so confident about this invention that possibility of its failure was almost 0%

Dr. Nikola Tesla described a simple setup that constantly focused Sun’s rays into a gas boiler filled with water, which eventually produced high pressure steam that drove the turbine and the turbine would in turn generate electricity. The steam would then be cooled and returned to the boiler as water. Thus this would be a closed loop process generating and storing electricity in a continuous manner. Dr. Tesla even had made his own additions to this process. Dr. Tesla treated the water in the boiler with certain chemicals that he himself had developed. This resulted in the generation of steady steam pressure that would keep the entire experiment running smoothly and perpetually.

Dr. Nikola Tesla also designed and invented some very unique machines and concepts which were way ahead of time, e.g. generating electricity with help of temperature differences between earth’s deep layer or depths of sea to that of the earth’s surface, a boat propelled by temperature differences of sea water, structuring and subsequent modifications of tidal power plants, etc. Dr. Nikola Tesla said that these power plants would generate electricity, which could be stored and transmitted wirelessly through cables not only to the factories but also to the homes as well. The power stations could be located across the globe and would generate as well as store sufficient electricity to meet all the demands during all the times of the year, and with proper interconnectivity between them. With this the entire world would get unlimited supply of electrical energy for all the times. After years of experimentations Dr. Nikola Tesla discovered that the sun emits peculiar radiations (small particles) of great energy apart from the sunlight at all times.

And Mother Earth Replied !!! – Dr. Nikola Tesla

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com
Samirsinh Dattopadhye's FB page , Google Plus

“Similar to the sound waves echoing from a distant wall, I have sent electrical vibrations toward the remote boundaries of the earth, and instead of the wall the earth has replied. In place of an echo I have obtained a stationary electrical wave”. These were the quotes of Dr. Nikola Tesla while he was experimenting with wireless electrical energy.

Earlier in this series we have seen Dr. Nikola Tesla successfully carrying experiments on Wireless electricity. With this, the genius of Dr. Tesla was making sure that he could actually make wireless electricity available to the entire world and bring one of his dreams for humanity in reality. The dream of Dr. Tesla that he had cherished would have provided every human-being with ample and actually unlimited amount of electricity that too absolutely for free. It would have been just like sunshine or air that we enjoy and utilize irrespective of caste, creed and financial status for free and that too in adequate quantities. Had the then industry captains not suppressed the success of Dr. Tesla’s experiments, these could have been replicated in the real life. While making the above statement Dr. Tesla stated that to help him achieve his aim, “Mother Earth had replied”.

With respect to the opening statement of this article made by Dr. Nikola Tesla, he further stated that to help him achieve his aim, Mother Earth had indeed replied.  Proceeding ahead let us know about the various experiments that Dr. Nikola Tesla conducted to meet one of his aims of unlimited free wireless electricity transmission.

WEIRD

 Hit and Run to Mollywood

Indian cinema is growing as a business.  However, in fact, cinema is an art and the epitome of art, they say.  A question has been raised if the business of film making is harming the production of good quality cinema.  Some young focused directors who concentrate on making content based, good quality cinema have answered it through their films.

Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Shoojit Sarkar, Neeraj Pandey, Vikramaditya Motwane are some directors who have brought variety to Indian films.  They have handled assorted and out of the box thoughts and stories.  Their films brought much needed variety to Indian cinema.  However, one cannot but feel sad that some movies with weak storylines have been minting crores of rupees due to smart marketing gimmicks.

A movie is released all over the country by spending crores of rupees.  A film which is released on a Friday makes crores of rupees in just about three days.  By the time the word spreads about the poor quality of film, audience would have gone and watched the film helping the movie make much needed money.  This formula of “Hit and Run” is in vogue in the Indian film industry.  One has to step back and think, if the success enjoyed by a bad quality film is indicative of the deteriorated taste of the audience or is it the result of ultra-smart marketing?

The issue of German gold has given rise to one basic question and that is whether the Federal Reserve really has any gold left with them?Federal Reserve has claimed that it possess about 8133 tons of gold reserve which is a huge quantity. According to them this gold is stored at the places like Federal Reserve at New York, and Denver, and at US Army base of Fort Knox. However, no audit of these gold stockshas ever been carried out at any of these locations after 1953. This again raises doubts on integrity of the Federal Reserve.German may have taken the humiliating treatment meted out to its representatives who had been to Federal Reserve to its heart. But surprisingly, even the America lawmakers have not been allowed visit to these locations since 1970. This matter has been frequently raised by some selected media and analysts. But what Federal Reserve has time and again offered against this are just hollows appeals to the American public to trust it. Senior American lawmaker Ron Paul had tried gold audit in year 2011 in the senate. But till now no action has been initiated over the same.

Gold in GermanyGermany holds the second position in the world when it comes to gold reserves. Germany’s gold reserve stands at 3,390 tones. However 70% of it is not in Germany. The Federal Reserve of the United States holds largest stock of German gold with 1536 tones; Britain has about 450 tones while a bank in France has 374 tones. During the World War II, these gold reserves were shipped to the United States, France and Britain for its safety and security. But now the German political circles have now gone against the opinion of keeping the gold reserves outside the country only for the reason of its physical security. Therefore, efforts are being made to bring back these gold reserves or at least a part of it back to Germany. Process has been initiated in this regards, and accordingly 374 and 300 tons of gold reserves from France and the United States is being planned to be brought back respectively.

The German banks and government have shown the desire to bring back their gold reserves by 2020. France has given a positive sign of returning this gold but the Federal Reserve of the United States has shown reluctance not only in returning the gold reserve but also in showing it to the German representatives giving lame reasons of physical security of the gold and lack of space for the visitors who come to see it.

Is something fishy with the Iran nuclear deal?

In the thick and rush of news related to Greece it seems world media has missed something. Something very, very important and that too it’s happening right in the neighbourhood of the Indian Subcontinent and has major global implications. I am sure those amongst you who have read ‘The Third World War’ book authored by Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi might have already guessed it by now. Yes, I am talking about the Iran nuclear deal that has been reached just a couple of days back between Iran and the world powers.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and US Secretary of State John Kerry.  This process of ‘so called’ reconciliation started immediately after Hassan Rouhani, known to be a statesman became president of Iran succeeding hardliner Ahmadinejad. Following is a short summary of the conditions that have been agreed upon during these negotiations between P5+1 i.e. United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, China plus Germany on one side and Iran on the other.

ENTHRALLING
India’s Soft Power
Along with a country’s financial capability, defence power, geographical importance, its soft power is gaining importance. A Political Analyst from Harvard University, Joseph S. Nye first introduced the concept of Soft Power. A country can set up its own image at an international platform through its unique culture, traditions, expertise from the field of sports, literature and arts. It is regarded as “Soft Power”.
Hosting Beijing Olympics and Kung Fu could be regarded as symbols of creation of Soft Power. Hollywood is an integral part of Soft Power of America. It is because people have accepted the image of America and they tour America after viewing Hollywood movies. If one understands that then one can recognize a place where India’s Soft Power lies.
There is a large population outside India who decides on their image of India after watching Bollywood films in their respective country of residence. The movies which are called Masala movies consisting of song, dance and emotions, touch a chord deep inside the audience outside India.
Shashi Tharoor once on national television narrated a story of a young man he met in New York. Mother of this young man from Africa travels to the city once a month from Senegal and watches a Hindi movie in a theatre. She enjoys the song and dance from that movie just like we do. She neither knows Hindi nor does she know English to read the subtitles. In spite of that she understands the story line and she enjoys that. Watching a Hindi movie has become a need of this woman.
Mukesh-Awaara-Hoon-AwaaraThe response enjoyed by a Hindi movie abroad is not a new phenomenon. Even today, people from Russia hum the song “Awara Hoon.” Shammi Kapoor is a favourite star in the Middle East. However, the number of Hindi movie fans abroad has increased geometrically and the impact of Hindi movies has also increased tremendously. India has begun to enjoy immense political and strategic push through this.
Several analysts claim that Bollywood has brought much needed visibility for India. Whatever visibility that India enjoys by showcasing Hindi cinema abroad, could not have been achieved by talking about India’s multi-cultural, multi-lingual, multi-religious aspect of society. It could not have been achieved by talking about its democracy or rich, ancient cultural heritage. It has been fairly easy to achieve that by showcasing Indian cinema abroad.

The Economic Crises of Greece

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com

‘Hellenic’ means relating to Greece. Off late Greece is the country where so called proverbial ‘hell has been breaking loose’. We have been hearing various news reports related to Greece and the acute economic crises that it is currently facing. For many of us in India, we haven’t looked at this situation as a major global event except for some of those from stock markets or from impex sector who would be facing some brunt. Hence I thought of writing on this already brewed and further hardening crises.
greece-bailout
Reference – www.express.co.uk
Greece incidentally is the first of the ‘developed countries’ of the world to default on an International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) loan repayment that happened very recently on 15th June 2015. The three main factors that led to these crises include a) the global economic recession of 2008, b) weak economic policy of Greece and c) sudden loss of investors which happened mainly because of the flawed figures and disguised funds by various Greek central governments over the years. To our surprise there were few major financial institutions which had adviced and helped Greece in these disguised frauds.
Now without being much jargonistic, let us further see some more reasons which has led to the Greek economic crises.
