Special-Astonishing-peculiar

No one would know if this is a real incident or a fabricated one. In the eighties, an international competition was held in India. The medals were being given to the winners by a senior accomplished actor. An international player enquired with his Indian counterpart who the chief guest was. The international player was quite surprised that an actor was handing over the medals to the winners. ”That is why you have remained backward,” he made a passing remark.

It does not matter if someone calls us backward looking or forward looking. In our country, film stars and superstars have won immense popularity and they would continue to enjoy it in future as well. It is because in India, we do not look at movies as plain movies. In India, a movie is a celebration. Indians celebrate movies on a regular basis. It does not mean that Indians watch movies all the time. However, Indians tend to do something or the other that is in some way or the other related to movies. They, at times, tend to listen to movie songs. At times, they tend to read about their favourite cine stars and now, whenever they have some free time, watch movies on their smartphones as well.

Movies have been having an increasingly intense influence on the society at large. No one is left with any objections about it at all. It has been more than 100 years since the first movie was made in India and it has been more than 12 years since the business of making films is officially considered an Industry by itself. Over all these years, India has become the largest movie producing nation in the world even surpassing America.

The size of the film going audience has been increasing phenomenally not just in India but outside of India too. Hindi movies being shown outside of India are not only attracting Indian audiences but also non-Indian audiences quite effortlessly as well. Read on to have an insight into the world of Indian movies, movies which are special, enthralling and weird as well…

Special

In the month of May 1913, Dadasaheb Phalke’s “Raja Harishchandra” was released. That is why the year 2012 turned out to be the centenary year of Indian film industry. It would enthral, surprise anyone witnessing the growth and progress of Indian film industry over these 100 years. The business of movie making has become a growing industry in India. Along with Hindi cinema which is known as Bollywood, films made in Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam and Kannada are also thriving and growing as well. There are more than 1000 films being made each year in India. In the year 2012, the total earnings of Indian film industry were in excess of rupees 1120 million. -

The Special, the Astonishing & the Peculiar

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com

Every anniversary issue of Daily Pratyaksha has seen a unique theme, selected by Dr. Aniruddha Dhairyadhar Joshi (Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu), its Executive Editor, being covered in great detail, with its multifarious facets being systematically analysed and presented to the readers. The past two years’ Anniversary Special issues of Pratyaksha have been on yet another unique theme, “The Special, the Astonishing & the Peculiar”. The fact that it has been covered in two consecutive Anniversary issues, itself underlines its importance.Special-Astonishing-peculiar
While conducting a meeting on this topic, Bapu said “The universe is so richly diverse! This abundant fortune of the universe appears at times, special and at others, incredible. Then, there are yet other times when it’s astonishing peculiarity, we feel, is also an essential part of its unique wonder. ”
The immense progress in technology has caused a boom, in fact an explosion of information, one that we experience practically every hour. News and all sorts of information slam onto us and all the time. At the receiving end of this constant onslaught we tend to overlook ‘the special, the astonishing and the peculiar’ around us. So, to highlight the significance of such information and news, the central theme of ‘Dainik Pratyaksha’ is indeed ‘the special, the astonishing and the peculiar’.
As you know, the news about the disappearance of the Malaysian Airliner MH 370 hit us among so many more mystifying ones like it. As a matter of fact, these occurrences appear to have increased in intensity and scope. It becomes all the more important, therefore, to explore further, “the special, the astonishing and the peculiar” that happen all around us. (source : Anniversary brochure)
Both the special issues of the ‘Dainik Prtayaksha’ received an overwhelming response from the readers. Thus, for the benefit of the Shraddhavans residing in India and outside India, who cannot read and understand Marathi or those who could not get a copy of the anniversary issues, I am starting a series on my blog named ‘the Special, the Astonishing and the Peculiar’. I am going to share with every Shraddhavaan friend, selected and edited articles translated in English which were published in these two special issues.
Tomorrow, the first article in this series would be published, named ‘Hindi Cinema: Special, Enthralling and weird as well

Welcoming Bapu at Shri Guruji Rugnalaya
Our beloved Sadguru, Param Pujya Aniruddha Bapu visited Shri Guruji Rugnalaya managed by the institute, ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan’. During this visit, Bapu visited the ICU, Dialysis Room, General Ward, Special Rooms, X-Ray, CT Scan, Pharmacy, OPD, Pathology, Cancer Radiation Room and other various sections of the hospital. After this, ‘Special Ayurvedic packages for a healthy lifestyle’ created by the hospital’s Ayurvedic Department, were inaugurated by Bapu at ‘Karmaveer Raosaheb Thorat Auditorium’. Some doctors at the hospital were also felicitated by Bapu during this event.

While addressing the audience Bapu said, ‘We waste a lot of our time in contradicting other people’s opinions. You do not need to pay attention to what the world has to say. Their opinions do not make any difference. You should definitely fight back where necessary but do not unnecessarily waste your time in doing so. We also see that sometimes patients are admitted to the hospital for no reason. They are asked to perform a lot of tests. On the other side, we also see that even though the patient is informed that he is not suffering from anything as such, the patient insists that they should be given some medicine or they should be admitted to the hospital. Both of these things are wrong.’
Bapu at Cancer Radiotherapy DepartmentAfter this, Bapu also insisted the hospital authorities to start a Homeopathic department. While saying this he said that as the third world war that has been brought upon us is going to deal with atomic weapons, Allopathic or Ayurvedic method of treatment will not prove to be that effective. Homeopathic treatment which works at the energy level would only be effective at those times.

The India-Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement

A fortnight back, Indians across the world would have felt proud of their armed forces who daringly tracked the terrorists who had killed our soldiers and hunted them deep inside Myanmar. Preceding this event the whole nation saw yet another victorious thump by the Government of India.

Taking a leaf out of book of late Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi and Founder of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina signed the historic and much awaited Land Boundary Agreement.

It all began with the red carpet reception that was extended to the Indian Prime Minister in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. It even happened that breaking all the protocols, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina herself received the Indian Prime Minister at the Dhaka airport.

Hari Om

This is to inform all Shraddhavaans, that we have come across many profiles on Twitter and Facebook which are claiming to be official Profiles of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi – MD. Medicine, Rheumatology).
I would like to state categorically that, at this current moment, PP Bapu has not joined either Twitter or Facebook; hence all accounts claiming to be the official account of PP Bapu should be considered to be fake accounts. We have come across one such Twitter account whose profile name is @Dr_AniruddhaJ. This is a clear case of impersonation and we are in the process of taking necessary Legal Action in the matter.
In future, if PP Bapu does decide to join Twitter, we have, for his convenience, blocked the following profile names:

1. draniruddhasinh

2. aniruddhadjoshi

3. aniruddha_bapu

4. friendaniruddha

It should be noted that, at this moment, none of these profiles are active. PP Bapu may use any one of these names when he decides to join Twitter; and when that happens, I shall keep you all duly informed through my blog and Facebook page.

Shreeshwasam Utsav Memories forever…

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog www.aniruddhafriend-samirsinh.com
Samirsinh Dattopadhye's FB page , Google Plus

Shreeshwasam, which all we Shraddhavaans had so eagerly looked forward to, was held between 4th & 10th of May 2015. After Parampoojya Bapu had emphasized its unimaginable importance, Shreeshwasam had become the most awaited thing for all of us. Every one of the Shraddhavaan who could participate in the festivities will, I am sure, be carrying with them a treasure trove of memories that will last far beyond this lifetime. The mere thought that we were part of the ‘select few’ who could be part of the Shreeshwasam Utsav is truly exhilarating and invigorating. I know there are many, many more Shraddhavaans who, with all their heart and soul, wanted to be present for the Utsav, but could not due to genuine constraints. The memories of Shreeshwasam are so beautiful and precious that one would want relive it over and over again.

To make this possible, we have captured on video all the beautiful moments of Shreeshwasam over all the eight days (including the Sthapana Poojan performed by Parampoojya Bapu himself on Sunday, May 3, 2015), covering his arrival, and the entire bouquet of events such as Jalakumbha and Guhyasooktam, Parikrama, the absolutely captivating idols of Panchamukha Hanumant and Ashwini Kumars, Shree Aadimata Saptachakra-Swamini Poojan, offering of Prasad, drawing of Mooshak (mouse), Jhal and are sure to be deeply ingrained in the minds of Shraddhavaans.

There has been increasing demand by Shraddhavans to release the DVDs of Shreeshwasam Utsav containing highlights of each days and important ceremonies conducted during this period. But instead of DVDs we are uploading and releasing these Shreeshwasam highlight videos from my YouTube Channel. This will make these videos available to each and everyone of you, even to those at remote places and that too for absolutely free.

We have already released the video of highlights of Sthapana Sohala and of Day 1 and Day 2 from my YouTube Channel. Today, I will be sharing the video of highlights of the 3rd day of Shreeshwasam. Thereafter, highlights of the subsequent days will be released at regular intervals.

You can watch these videos at –
