This is to inform all Shraddhavaans, that we have come across many profiles on Twitter and Facebook which are claiming to be official profiles of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi – MD. Medicine, Rheumatology).
I would like to state categorically that, at this current moment, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi) has not joined either Twitter or Facebook; hence all accounts claiming to be the official account of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi) should be considered to be fake accounts.
We have come across one such Twitter account whose profile name is @Dr_AniruddhaJ. This is a clear case of impersonation and we are in the process of taking immediate legal action in the matter.
In future, if Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi) does decide to join Twitter, we have, for his convenience, blocked the following profile names:
1. draniruddhasinh
2. aniruddhadjoshi
3. aniruddha_bapu
4. friendaniruddha
It should be noted that, at this moment, none of these profiles are active. Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi) may use any one of these names when he decides to join Twitter; and when that happens, I shall keep you all duly informed through my blog and Facebook page.

Pakistan supports anti-India activities at JNU

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog

The Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh had said that the incident at ‘JNU’ had the backing and support of Hafiz Saeed, the Chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa. The Home Minister’s statement was based on the Twitter account of Hafiz Saeed wherein the Chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa had tweeted his support towards the anti-India elements in the JNU. Further in his tweet, Hafiz Saeed had also demanded that Pakistan Government support this trend. However there have been claims that the Twitter account was a fake one and the Home Minister’s statement is not backed by any concrete evidence. There have also been potshots at the Minister saying that he should not have made such irresponsible statements without proper verification.

There has been news that the said Twitter account in Hafiz Saeed’s name is being operated by Pakistan’s intelligence organization. The Union Home Minister while speaking on the subject said, “We have made responsible statements and we stand by the same. We would like to maintain the confidentiality and would not like to reveal anything at this stage.
This is not the first time that Pakistan has been found to have a hand in the anti-India incidents at ‘JNU”. In 1995, Prof B.G. Chakravarty had lodged a complaint with the JNU authorities about Pakistani agents being actively involved in carrying out anti-national activities in the University. He had also sent a letter to the Registrar of JNU in this regard.
Prof. Chakravaty had made some shocking revelations in the said letter. A reference has been made about the discussion that took place on 21stDecember 1995 in the Academic Council meeting of the University. On raising the issue of the anti-national activities carried out by Pakistani secret agents, he was advised by the Vice-Chancellor to lodge a written complaint with the Registrar in this matter.
“Ceaseless efforts are being made to make a division and separate out the Indian state of Jammu-Kashmir from India. JNU is being used for the furtherance of this cause and poisonous propaganda is being carried out. The terrorists from Pakistan are actively involved in the same. They had resided as guests in the “Aravali” and “Gomti” hostels of JNU. These terrorists had also participated in the event held on the 15th November and were even carrying arms” revealed Prof. Chakravarty in his letter.
“Anti-India” posters have been put up in the JNU campus and the terrorists from Pakistan are behind this propaganda. There is an aggressive demand in the poster to withdraw Indian Army from Kashmir. Alongside this, the Pakistani agents are advocating the “two-nation” theory of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in this poster. Hence Prof. Chakravarty in his letter had requested all this information be made known to the intelligence agencies.

Reactions of Tribal (Adivasi) students of JNU

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog

The student organizations from ‘JNU’ that support glorification of demon Mahishasur and their representatives claim to represent the poor and backward classes. But proofs have emerged of the baselessness in these claims. After seeing the posters of ‘Mahishasur Martyrdom Day’ Event the infuriated student of tribal classes from JNU have strongly objected to it. The pamphlet released by the these students of JNU against this event itself starts with praise of Adimata Durga. It says :-
Jayanti Mangala Kali Bhadrakali Kapalini
Durga Kshama Shivadhatri Swaha Swadha Namostute’
It further says, we are devotees of Mother Durga and that itself is our religion, our culture. Condemning the efforts of glorification of demonic worship of Mahishasur in the harshest possible words, the pamphlet says that they are tribals and have been worshipping the fearless and valourous Mother Durga for generations. They also mention that the organizers of this event are in no way their representatives. They further assert that they were capable-enough to represent themselves. The pamphlet ends with the war cry – ‘Jai Maa Kali, Jai Gorkhali’. Hence this pamphlet by ‘JNU Tribal Students Forum’ published in the October of 2014 brings many things to light when some elements have been claiming of representing the entire student fraternity. A handful of professors and the administration that supports them have been advocating and trying to bring in a specific ideology. On the other hand, professors from outside this grouping and the student fraternity have allegedly blamed this particular grouping of professors and students, that have been openly supporting ‘Freedom of Thought’, ‘Freedom of Expression’, etc. for not bothering for the same values of those who disregard their opinions.

What is JNU Controversy?

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog

Arrested by the Delhi police on charges of sedition, Kanhaiya Kumar, the leader of the students union was released on interim bail. There have been celebrations in the JNU ever since. Almost all news channels are beaming interviews with ‘Kanhaiya’. Some, it has been alleged project this student leaders as a ‘political hero’. JNU becomes in the meanwhile, an epicenter of an earthquake sending periodic shockwaves through the nation.
Until a few days back hardly a few were aware of the existence of this university called the JNU situated in New Delhi. But now the question doing the rounds on social and other media is, ‘is this university actually a part of India?’ There is uproar in the Parliament over the JNU issue. Debates between the government and the opposition are not uncommon occurrence in a democracy like ours. However the kind of intense fury that the JNU issue sparked off, was witnessed for the first time by many. Thus the JNU row now brings on the anvil, the issues of antinational slogans and activity, of national security and those of freedom of speech.
The nationwide stir began with a programme organized in the JNU on the 9th of February. In 2001 there was a Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament. It was proved that ‘Afzal Guru’ was the man behind this attack. The Supreme Court gave him the death sentence and in 2012 he was hanged. In protest against his hanging a programme to mark the Afzal Guru martyrdom day was organized in the JNU on the 9th of February.
The poster of this program is inflammatory. The program appealed to draw inspiration from the sacrifice of Afzal Guru and of Makbul Bhat who was sentenced to death for terrorist activity. That this program was antinational and not cultural, was pointed out by some to the JNU administration following which the program was denied permission. And yet the program did take place. The slogans heard during the evening were, ‘Afzal, shame on us! Your killers still live on’; ‘How many Afzals will you kill? In every home there will be one’; ‘Until Bharat is destroyed, We will fight’; ‘Kashmir demands freedom’ and ‘Pakistan zindabad’. Of the seven videos that covered the evening, 2 it is claimed, have been doctored. The remaining five however, do indicate very clearly what exactly happened on that day.
Ms Smriti Irani, the union minister for HRD presented before the House of Parliament, evidence pointing to the anti national slogans at the JNU campus. The defense against this ranges from total denial of any such slogans to claims that the persons raising slogans were outsiders. The Democratic Students Union (DSU) and the All India Student Association (AISA) had jointly organized the program in question. Kanhaiya Kumar is the President of the AISA elected from the JNU. As for whether he actually raised these slogans or not, there is conflicting information. However the fact remains and beyond doubt that the slogans were indeed raised in his presence. He ought to have prevented those who were doing so. The verdict of the court granting him interim bail too has made a remark that this was not responsible conduct on his part as a student leader.
The Delhi Police machinery was set in motion to arrest Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya under charges of sedition. Kanhaiya was arrested but Umar Khalid along with 9 others, went missing for a few days. Umar Khalid and his colleagues then re-surfaced in the JNU. But the Delhi Police did not enter the premises of the JNU to arrest them. Is the JNU a part of India or of some other country? ‘Why should the Police need the permission of the university administration to arrest the students?’ was question seething in the minds of the people. A few on the other hand argued that the autonomy of the university is a significant issue.
While on the way to the court, Kanhaiya was beaten up by some lawyers rendering sensitive, the question of his security. However, out now on bail, Kanhaiya has begun to talk of turning around the politics of this country. Kanhaiya makes clear that his fight is directed not against the country but against the system and the government. Nevertheless allegations that the JNU has become a sanctuary of antinational activity, are gaining increasing strength in the minds of the people. Not only that, it has now come to light that students here, have been since long, indulging in antinational activity and organizing programs with content that offends religious sentiments and is therefore objectionable. The question we are now faced with is, does the JNU really engage in authentic educational activity or is it an epicenter of seditious, antinational and anti-religious activity?

Smriti Irani’s speech turned the tables

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog

The Union Minister for HRD, Mrs. Smriti Irani countered very effectively, all questions raised in the context of the JNU, in the house of the Parliament. Afzal Guru was given ample and fair opportunity to defend himself before the Supreme Court pronounced the death sentence. He was even granted repeated chances to make mercy petitions. It was only following these fair chances that the death sentence was executed. And yet those who raised slogans of ‘Afzal Guru’s judicial killing’ seek justice from this very court of law, this judicial institution of India. ‘That precisely’, said Smriti Irani, ‘is the strength of my country’s democratic system that stands on justice’ as she presented the Government’s stand in the matter.
Kanhaiya and others who participated in the anti-national activity are as a matter of fact being used as weapons against the nation. These youth just do not know what they are doing she said, as she went on to reveal the details of the objectionable programs organized in the JNU. Among proofs of other inflammable instances, she presented those of the celebrations of the Mahishasur martyrdom day. Over and above these, she tabled before the parliament, substantial and concrete proof by way of reports and statements of the JNU administration and the JNU security personnel.
Further, the Union Minister for HRD, Smriti Irani read out before both houses of the Parliament, the extremely malicious and obscene references to the Mother Durga in the pamphlet of the ‘Mahishasur martyrdom day’. She even prayed to God for forgiveness before she read out the atrocious material. She stressed firmly that antinational programs and activity insulting and hurting religious sentiment cannot be allowed to pass off as ‘freedom of speech’. All questions opposing governmental action against the objectionable activity at the JNU were silenced by the concrete, rational arguments of the union minister for HRD. Her speech, full of impact received spontaneous applause from all over the nation. The social media too showered Smriti Irani’s speech with appreciation and admiration. Her speech was an apt representation of the genuine sentiments of the common people and this was what kept echoing among the general populace even much after the speech.
Smriti Irani was lauded for her speech that not only outwitted her political rivals but left them speechless. She even hit back effectively to silence the accusation that her speech was ‘all fervour and no fact’. It was her speech in the parliament that lifted the lid on many a fact relating to the JNU and so could bring these to light for the world to see. It is said that her speech ended up completely transforming the scene of the JNU row.

Mahishasur Martyrdom Day

Hon.’ Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi went on a visit to the United States during November 2014. The visit was during the Navaratri festival that was being celebrated in India and hence PM Modi was on a fast. Hence, special arrangements were made for him keeping this in mind during the US Presidential banquet. This was reported by the media time and again. But, coinciding with this was ‘Mahishasur Martyrdom Day’ i.e. being celebrated in ‘JNU’. The pamphlet of this programme claims Mahishasur to be a very brave king and that he represented the backward classes. The same pamphlet depicts Mother Durga in a very disgraceful language. It mentions that Durga Mata, representing the Aryas had killed Mahishasur by deceit and that the Navratri Utsav was a racist and controversial event.
Many evidences found in this relation are concretely prove the holding of the event even though many have claimed that no such event was organized in the JNU. Infact, JNU’s registrar himself has revealed the information. Not only this, but in the year 2014, Lord Ram and other Gods and Goddesses in whom the Indians have firm belief, too, were humiliated in JNU, says the internal security report of the JNU. This report throws light on various disturbing things that have happened in JNU which went unnoticed. There was a mass outcry against the event for Mahishasur’s glorification being held in JNU when its news was made public.

Celebrations inside JNU after Dantewada Massacre of CRPF personnel

Original article on Samirsinh Dattopadhye's Blog

On 6th April 2010, Maoists carried out a cold-blooded attack in Dantewada district in the state of Chattisgarh, which resulted in the death of 76 CRPF personnel. Amidst angry reactions from across the country condemning this incident, there were reports that some students of JNU held celebrations inside the JNU campus. The students shouted slogans of ‘India Murdabad’ (Down with India) and ‘Maowad Zindabad’ (Long live Maoism) to celebrate this success of the Maoists. During these celebrations, a few students opposed, resulting in the situation turning tense within the JNU campus.
This incident goes to show that anti-national sentiments are nurtured within the JNU. There are students who idolize the Maoists and terrorists who defy the national security and are responsible for bloodshed of numerous innocent people. On the other hand, brave men who sacrifice their lives for their motherland are anti-heroes for them.

A few years back, some singers from Pakistan had performed in JNU. The Indian army was ridiculed during this program. Ex-students from JNU who had fought the Kargil war opposed this, which resulted in them being beaten up by the crowd. There were reports that atleast 2 jawans had to be hospitalised and had to be treated for a long time. This issue was discussed in the Parliament as well.
