The recent reports of participation of European youth in terrorist groups of Syria and Iraq has hit the western world in its face and is an extremely worrying fact for these nations. ‘The International Centre for Counter Terrorism, an independent Hague-based think tank has brought this news to limelight through its report.

According to the report, more than 2,838 youth from just four European nations viz., Belgium, UK, France and Germany have joined Syria and Iraq based terrorist groups. At the same time, policies of the European Union have been held widely responsible for the terrorist attacks across Europe. With these allegations there have been increasing demands for resignation of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Federica Mogherini

The International Centre for Counter Terrorism has published this special report titled ‘The Foreign Fighters Phenomenon in the European Union’. The research has tried to provide information about the increasing impact of terrorism in the European nations. The report also points out to more than 4,000 youths from across Europe having joined terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

Mega Blood Donation Camp 2016

After the delight of crossing the overall figure of donation of 1,00,000 blood units over last 17 years, this year the volunteers of Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management, Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation and Dilasa Medical Trust and Rehabilitation Centre would be excited and all-geared for the annual Mega Blood Donation Camp, being held on coming Sunday i.e. 17th April 2016 at Shree Harigurugram, Bandra (East), Mumbai, and also for the Blood Donation Camp that would be held with participation of 45 Centres in Pune on Sunday, 1st May 2016 to support the Mega Blood Donation Camp.
In the previous years we have been successful at achieving the target of collection of 5500 blood units per Mega Camp from our donors. Hence to improve on it we have pinned this year’s target at 6000 units of blood and I am sure all the Shraddhavan friends of Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu (Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi) would be more than willing to contribute in it as this is ‘the donation’.
Interestingly this year’s Mega Blood Donation Camp will witness participation from 31 blood banks and hospitals from across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and even Nagpur.
To help our donors 50 doctors and 35 paramedics from Foundation’s Medical Wing would be there for the whole day along with the doctors and paramedics from the participating hospitals and blood banks. But in case if willing-donors get rejected on medical grounds we have arranged for them to perform ‘Charkha Seva’, which in itself is ‘donation of efforts’.
I heartily acknowledge participation of all the donors who have participated in our earlier blood donation camps held since the year 1999. I am sure, for all of those Shraddhavans for whom it would be possible to donate their blood would participate in this important activity and deliver on their devotional and social responsibility.
(PS: I am appending a chart (infographic), depicting the units of blood donated by Shraddhavans over the years, starting right from the year 1999 till the year 2015).

North Korea’s Supreme Leader, Kim Jong-Un on Saturday claimed to have successfully tested an engine designed for an inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM). “Now North Korea can tip new type inter-continental ballistic rockets with more powerful nuclear warheads and keep any cesspool of evils in the earth including the US mainland within our striking range,” exclaimed Kim, who monitored the test.

China has been alleged by the international community of aiding and abetting the nuclear and conventional weapons programmes of North Korea. But to maintain its rosy diplomatic face China has also pretended to have slapped sanction against North Korea. But with this test its all the more clearer to the world that Chinese sanctions have been nothing more than hogwash.

Leaders of more than 50 countries are convening in the US capital of Washington D.C. today for the fourth Nuclear Security Summit 2016, a high-level diplomatic world meeting, aimed at preventing nuclear terrorism around the globe.
The recent deadly attacks in Brussels have fueled grave concerns in the minds of world leaders that Islamic State and other radical terrorist organizations could eventually target nuclear plants and develop radioactive “dirty bombs”.
Three men who are suspected of taking part in the attacks at Belgium's Brussels Airport.

But the main and a gravest concern that would be hotly discussed in the Summit is that of the nuclear arsenal possessed by terrorist infected state like Pakistan and a rogue state like North Korea; and the possible fall of dirty bombs in hands of radical and terrorist organizations. These countries have a long and a tarnished history of nuclear proliferation and are alleged to functioned as nuclear black marketers. Islamic State had secretly monitored a Belgian nuclear scientist, further raising fears of dirty bomb. The scientist could be seen coming and going from his home during 10 hours of surveillance footage recovered from the home of Islamic State terrorist Mohammed Bakkali, who was arrested after the Brussels attacks.
Japan PMOn this background many countries of the world have already started to take precautionary steps. Just couple of days back Japan approved the largest-ever defence budget of $44 billion and also effected new laws easing restraints on its military and permitting Japanese troops to participate in conflicts along with United States and other friendly nations for safeguarding Japanese security.
